Well, our A/C is out yet AGAIN! We don’t live in a crappy apartment complex, honestly. We just got the one apartment that has a defective A/C unit and the complex doesn’t want to just replace the unit altogether. BUT, the good thing is that my harshly worded letter to the management company the last time this happened seems to have done the job. My account must be flagged under the “Customers That Give Us Hell If We Don’t Give Them Better Service” category. I called in to the maintenance line to submit a service request, and literally minutes after hanging up, my phone started ringing. It was the maintenance lead at my complex, telling me that he legally can’t go up to work on the unit while it is raining, but he would be coming by here as soon it stopped. My only response was, “Well, that was a first.”

Sometimes it pays to be the customer that everybody hates.
