Just finished sending this email to the property management company that runs my apartment complex. I’m so over them, although we have to stick it out for another 12 months. I’m not kidding when I say I am about to get legal on these fools.

Yesterday, at 4:56 pm I called in a service request for a broken A/C. The ticket# is 969887. It is perhaps understandable that they weren’t able to take care of the ticket yesterday. But then I waited patiently at home all day today, expecting someone to take care of my request. When no one had arrived at 5, I called the offices and was told that one of the maintenance men would be by there before they went home today. After STILL no one showed up by 9:30 this evening, I called in again to the corporate offices and was told that no one would be coming by tonight and all they could do was open up a new ticket with “emergency” status. Meanwhile, I’m enduring a second straight night without A/C while living in Texas. I’m also wondering why this is the fourth or fifth time that I have had issues related to my A/C unit since my wife and I moved in 12 months ago. I’m tired of the temporary fixes and even more disgusted at having to endure two nights in Texas without A/C, especially when I was told by someone in the offices that it would be fixed today. If no one has come to fix the unit by noon tomorrow, I’ll just call an A/C technician of my own and have them send the bill to you. And rest assured, regardless of the outcome, this is not the only place I will be lodging a complaint.
